Kurma Narayana, who shines on the hill of Haligera village within the Mandal area of ​​Sri Kurma Kshetra, which is always ringing with the name of Sri Narayana, shining like gold to those who measured it.

Swayambhu Sri Kurma Narayana naturally emerged as the north facing door. Scholars say that Kurma Narayana is the only north facing door in the country. There is no other temple like this in whole India.

As part of the Jayanti celebrations, milk anointment, sandalwood abhishekam, abhishekam with various river waters, Sri Lakshmi Ashtottara Sahita, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama recitation, Avadhuta Hanuma Puja, special poojas to Ravi and Vriksha of ancient times, Sami and Vriksha Poojas are performed.
