But since both his head and body have life due to the reception of Amrita, he gives life to him as his Dharma and determines the head as ‘Rahu’ and the body as Kethu and assigns them a place in the planetary constellation. They are Rahu-Ketuva Chayagrahas.

They hold the sun and the moon and afflict them because of their attachment to the moon. But not being able to control their power, they leave it for a while. Because they are planets, we say that the eclipse happened, if it is for the moon, it is lunar eclipse, and if it is for the sun, it is called solar eclipse.
